Commentary on al-Muqaddimah al-Jazarīyah, a short versified treatise on Qurʼān reading (tajwīd) by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Ibn al-Jazarī (d. 833/1429). In the preamble of the commentary, the author mentions other commentaries on the same text and the name of the shaykh with whom he read the Jazarīyah, with a chain of transmission. According to the end of the copy, the commentary was completed in the middle decade of Ṣafar 941 [Sept. 1534] (see fol. 50a).
